We were lucky to have Grandpa come spend a few months in Maine over the spring & summer. What a treat for Sam & Gordie to get acquainted Great Grand. I'm not sure who was more entertained, Grandpa or the grandbabies!

Just days before we said farewell to Lucy.

The Lucy/child combo was not the best fit. We decided we'd better heed the warning signs and find a new home for Lulu. Luckily Dad and Kay were excited about the idea of having Lucy come live with them in South Carolina. The happy ending is that Lucy is enjoying her golden years living lakefront and running free. She's apparently made friends with all the neighbors and is keeping Dad & Kay thoroughly entertained.
